FEBRUARY

Aimed at: This seminar is aimed at people who wish to work from 5 - 9pm.

Cash Flow Management & Credit Control Seminar (1 Day - €30 per person) Wednesday 24th

Aimed at: Owner/managers and those responsible for the finance function within the business, particularly, credit controllers.
Course Objective: To help participants understand the cash flow cycle. The course deals with the implications of poor cash flow, keys to healthy cash flow and will provide cash flow management tools. The essential steps to effective credit control will also be covered including opening new accounts, the role of the credit controller, the debt collection process and the legal process.

Business Consolidation Programme (4 months - €350 per person) Thursday 25th

This is a 4 month Management Development Programme geared at small businesses that have been operating for two years or more. The programme will address the following:

- Business Consolidation
- Streamlining Operating Procedures
- Strategy Planning
- Leadership and Change Management
- Financial Management

The programme will be delivered over a 4 month period with 5 full day wokrshops and 4 in-company visits per participating business. The course will also incorporate a residential weekend. The purpose of this weekend is to allow owner/managers to remove themselves from their business and to focus on creating a strategic plan for their business that will enable them to survive the current economic downturn. A number of role models in business will be on hand to share their experiences and to offer advice to participants.

Course Objective: To provide those who are considering starting a business or those who have recently set up their own business with the necessary knowledge and tools. Topics to be covered include market research, legal issues, marketing, sales, book-keeping & taxation, people management, best practices and business planning. On completion of the course participants will have produced their own business plan.
