Navan Enterprise Centre
Established in 1998 on the site of the former Navan Exhibition Centre. Since then the Centre has been developed and expanded and now has a floor area of about 75,000 square feet.
The objective of the Company is to provide good quality workspace at a competitive price to encourage small industry both manufacturing and service to establish in Navan. Currently there are 21 businesses operating from the Centre employing up to 200 people. The Centre is managed by a Board of Directors drawn from Meath County Council, Navan Town Council, Navan Civic Trust, The Meath County Enterprise Board and local business. The main tenant, occupying almost a quarter of the building, is Epicom Ireland Ltd.
This is a large packaging company which handles a wide variety of products for a number of prestigious companies. The Company has developed a sizeable business and normally employs about ninety people and works on two shifts. The headquarters of the County Enterprise Board is located in the building. The Board provides financial assistance and advice to a range of small companies and provides training for entrepreneurs who are starting up or expanding their businesses in the County. The County Council Centenary Project and the National Roads Design Office occupies a considerable amount of the office space to the front of the building with the North Eastern Health Board occupying most of the office space internally.
Other tenants in the Centre are Cantec (North-East) Ltd., Navan uPVC & Aluminium Limited, Intranets Ltd., ASM School of Motoring, Oakes Dental Laboratory, Meath Security Services, SESCO Ltd., Navan Chamber of Commerce, Meath Accessible Transport, Glasshaus Studio, Boyne Carpets, Eimer Hannon Travel, Millmount Healthcare Ltd., Joe O'Neill Management Consultants Ltd., Sheehan Web Media Ltd., BESAM Ltd. Navan Enterprise Centre is a managed project with a number of services provided centrally. It is intended as a starting point for many from which we hope larger industries will grow. Both the Navan Enterprise Centre and the Meath County Enterprise Board are on hand to offer advice and aid to the businesses if and when needed, while the Centre itself contains meeting rooms where business owners can meet important clients outside their working area. The Board is voluntary and any profits generated are and will continue to be used to further develop the building and site.
There is considerable potential for such development and it is the clear objective of the Board to continue as it has done over the past six years. There is some space still available and the Board welcomes new applications for suitable projects. The Company can be contacted at 046-9078411 or 087 2222306 or through this site.
