Meath Company Comes Tops At Global Awards

déBros Marble Works located in Ashbourne, Co. Meath has just won a top award in the US from the Marble Institute of America.

The award is for the company's design and layout of its new corporate brochure for kitchen worktops, which features a complete range from Italy, Spain, Czech Republic and all corners of the globe.

Commenting on the award, the Directors of déBros marble Works said "we were absolutely thrilled to hear the news that we were short-listed from over 90 entries around the world for the award and it was a wonderful experience to actually win this accolade from our American peers".

déBros Marble Works was founded in 1986 by Michael Deehan and Patrick Brosnan. The company currently employs 28 staff and supplies its natural stone portfolio to the kitchen manufacturing industry and the general public. The company was grant aided in the past by Meath County Enterprise Board.

The winners were honoured at the Second Annual Awards Luncheon in Las Vegas, NV recently. The 2006 MIA Advertising Awards Competition recognised the best advertising created by MIA members. The winners were chosen by a panel of advertising and graphic design professionals.
